Quality may be in the eyes of the viewer, but in the case of Google, quality is in the eyes of the crawler.

Google provides detailed information about how they perceive quality. Relevant, comprehensive, well-structured and engaging content gets the best look. Let's look at three strategies to boost some of those signals in the eyes of Google.
1. Increase topic depth with Semantic SEO
In spite of Google Previously only looking for the keywords used for the search, its natural language processing models now understand how search queries relate to each other. Semantic SEO is not just optimizing for one term but multiple keywords, phrases, and subtopics in the same space.

Thanks to NLP models, Google realizes these terms are closely related. Because your content contains all of those related terms, Google will perceive the page as having more topic depth than competing pages that don't include all of those terms.
This strategy is not a guessing game. It is called semantic richness. Tools like the one below from my company LinkGraph uses machine learning and NLP algorithms to help you identify the most important semantic top-ranking terms, phrases, and subtopics based on your target keywords. You can incorporate them into your content to make it semantically richer.

2. Show theme breadth with your architecture
If you improve the first quality signal in your content, your pages will likely be longer. Make sure you don't sacrifice other important quality indicators like information architecture.
Information architecture refers to how your content is labeled, structured, and organized. It also includes how the pages are organized in your site hierarchy. It helps if you create an SEO-friendly information architecture that signals users can easily navigate your content.

- Remove duplicate content. If you must have similar content pages, use relative standard card to indicate which pages are primary and which are duplicates.
- Upload sitemap . Don't let Google's crawlers determine the relevancy of your content. Create it yourself and send it . What do you want to do without coding? Use a sitemap generator tool .
3. Strengthen thematic authority with content clusters

If your site handles too many topics, Google is unlikely to consider your site as topic authority. ONE keyword phrase content model can help strengthen your subject authority. You choose a main topic that is related to all the sub-topics. Create content around those topics, related questions, or long phrases. Always include links to your internals pillar pages . A well-planned editorial calendar can help ensure you cover topics and publish that content consistently.

Backlinks Referring to your content on relevant websites can also help your site's topical authority. Google considers backlinks as an indicator that others trust your content enough to link to it. Guest blogging content marketing and public relations can lead to an opportunity to earn links on other domains.

By implementing all three of these strategies, you'll help Google better see your high-quality content signals. In turn, Google will most likely reward your site by promoting your content more often and higher in the search engine results pages.
