Instructions to create a Mail filter on Mail Zimbra

When we use any mail service, sometimes there will be emails that we do not expect to receive. To avoid troubles from the above emails, today VinaHost will guide you to create a Mail filter on Email Server ( Zimbra) of BKNS to help you remove, or put unwanted emails in the spam folder to avoid risks to your Email system.

Access the webmail system, where you send and receive email, usually mail.tenmien.com

In your personal webmail admin panel, choose: Options – Filters – Create Filters

When you click create filter, webmail will display a table where you can create filters for your email, this will be where you create rules to block the emails you want.

Next you will name this Filter in Filter Name. And select the Rules you want to block.

In the picture above, BKNS has created a filter for emails with subject I'M SPAM and emails will automatically cancel when reading emails with that subject.

For example, your email is often sent by many different fake accounts, sent with the same subject as I'M SPAM. You cannot block emails one by one, so when you block all messages with the above Subject, all Emails will be removed from your Email system.

And when you encounter many Spam emails or unwanted promotional emails you don't know what to block, you can create a filter to block each email as above.

With this method, it will take a little time to list out spam emails, but it will be very effective and will not miss any messages from blocked emails.

In the conditions section, the system gives you many different options to create blocking rules for your filter.

You can choose which filters from emails, or contain specific content, etc.

In the operations section, the option to decide whether the email will be rejected or sent to the junk folder, or sent to the address you want ...

VD:

Customers' emails are often sent by many strange emails with many different topics, but in those emails there are always words such as: hacker, spam, follow you... BKNS will create a filter to support Customer block all these emails.

In the conditions section, select "Content" to block emails with similar content.

Next is to add the words that you often receive in spam emails. Click the plus sign to add words and content that spam emails often do not.

And at the operation section, you choose Move Into Folder -> Choose Spam and Ok to complete the filter creation.

After creating the filter, to filter out content that contains words, spam content. Then all messages containing the content entered in the filter will be sent to spam.

Thank you.
