This article guides to fix the error that Teamviewer does not show ID and Pass on Dell Inspiron 14 computers running Windows 10 , you can do the same for other laptops and computers running Windows 7, 10, macOS .
At Start Menu type search and open Control Panel > Click View network status and tasks > Click on the network name you are using > Click Properties > Double click on Internet Protocol Version 4 > Select Obtain an IP address automatically > Click OK .
Step 1: Open the Start Menu or press the Window key on the keyboard > Type search Control Panel and open Control Panel .

Step 2: In the Network and Internet section , click View network status and tasks .

Step 3: Click on the name of the network you are using .

Step 4: Click on Properties .

Step 5: Double click on Internet Protocol Version 4 .

Step 6: Select Obtain an IP address automatically > Click OK .

After that, please reopen Teamviewer to see if Teamviewer does not show ID and Pass error.
At Start Menu type search and open Windows Defender Firewall > Select Windows Defender Firewall on or off > Select Turn off Windows Defender Firewall ( not recommended) > Click OK
Step 1: Open the Start Menu or press the Window key on the keyboard > Type search Windows Defender Firewall and open Windows Defender Firewall .

Step 2: Select Windows Defender Firewall on or off .

Step 3: Select Turn off Windows Defender Firewall (not recommended) > Click OK .

Then, try again to see if Teamviewer still has the error of not showing ID and Pass.

If trying the above 2 ways still does not fix the error that Teamviewer does not show ID and Pass, you can try to turn off the anti-virus software installed on your computer or reinstall the latest Teamviewer software according to the instructions here .
