Microsoft will accelerate Windows 11 next year

According to online sources, Microsoft will focus more on improving the performance and responsiveness of its Windows 11 operating system next year. Members of the Windows development team said this when answering questions from users of the Reddit platform "Ask Me Anything". 

In the conversation, a Reddit user mentioned the slow trend of the Windows 11 user interface, which is mainly related to the work of the file manager and the menu that appears when you right-click. In response, the developers announced plans to improve the performance of the operating system in 2022; including faster rendering of user interface elements. 

"Some problems are due to the performance of WinUI; but some may also have nothing to do with what our team is doing; but in general it is still important for Windows. In addition to focusing part of our UX framework on performance in 2022; we recently established a dedicated team to solve this problem in a more comprehensive way. "The developer said.

Obviously, Microsoft attaches great importance to improving the responsiveness of its operating system user interface. When performing simple tasks (such as navigating between folders), anything that slows down Windows 11's response speed; browsing files or right-clicking menus will have a negative impact on the reputation of the operating system among users. As Microsoft plans to actively promote Windows 11, these problems in the operating system should be resolved.

Microsoft has released a new media player application for Windows 11, and Windows Insider Dev channel members can test the application. The new software will support audio and video playback; and its design conforms to the Windows 11 interface.

Microsoft has updated the standard Media Player for Windows 11

Microsoft said that the core of Media Player is a brand new music library that allows you to quickly browse and play music; and create and manage playlists. In full screen view and mini player mode, the media player will display album art or artist images.

The media player will also support videos that are normally played in movie and TV applications on Windows 10 and Windows 11. Now, video and audio content will automatically appear in the library of the new player. In addition, users will be able to specify where the player can search for other content.

Media Player will replace the outdated Windows Media Player application that still exists in Windows 11. Microsoft said that the outdated player will continue to be available in the operating system; but it looks like the new media player will soon become the main way to watch videos and listen to music in Windows 11. Microsoft has not announced when the media player will be available to all users.
