How to view apps alphabetically

On iOS 14, there is a new area called Application library (App Library) on the home screen of iPhone, helps you organize your apps automatically, including folder view or alphabetical list view.

Application gallery on the home screen

App Gallery is an iOS 14-only feature that lists all your apps like Android, sorted alphabetically to find quickly and Easy, which you wouldn’t have been able to do without jailbreak before.

Unfortunately, the App Gallery doesn’t appear on iPads running iPadOS 14.

How to view applications alphabetically

Here’s how to view apps on iPhone in alphabetical order:

first. On the home screen, swipe left until you reach the bottom of the home screen and go to App Gallery.

2. Tap the search bar at the top Application library (App Library).

3. Scroll down until you find the app you want, then tap to open it.

When you use the search box, App Library will automatically list all of your installed iPhone apps alphabetically.

You can use the letters along the right side for faster navigation.

Of course, you can narrow the list down by entering the name of the app in the search box. For example, typing “Adobe” will list all the installed applications from Adobe on your iPhone.

In addition to opening the app, you can drag any app on the list to add it to the home screen. Unfortunately, if you long press on an app here, it won’t bring up any context menu and you won’t be able to remove the app from this view either.
